Kitten Brothers, Both Born with Just 2 Legs, Share an Incredible Bond

Two kitten brothers, Newt (black and white) and Frog (tabby) were born without their back legs. Because they are from the same litter, it is believed inbreeding may have led to them being born without their back legs. Despite their differences from other cats, they don’t appear to have any trouble getting around. They are able to play just as freely as their four-legged counterparts. They use their amazing upper body strength to move around, climb up and down the scratching posts and dash and scamper across the rooms.
Now they are being well cared for at the Rescue Me Animal Sanctuary in Liverpool. Frog and Newt will be kept in long-term care to assess their progress. Because they are thriving, there are no plans to fit them with wheels, which can happen with animals that lose their legs.
Frog and Newt are highly socialized since they live with other foster pets. They are also famous online and even have their own Facebook fanpage! Many people can’t wait to see how these adorable kittens grow up.
